The
San Marcos Grand Spring and Summer Festivals, family traditions on the
last Sunday of every August and the first Sunday in April, bring
delightful sights, sounds and smells to a large crowd and over 300
wonderfully unique vendors. The American Muscle Classic Car and Show, the
largest in San Diego County, includes some 200 classic cars and hot rods.
Expect high-energy from three entertainment stages, one of which
complements the car show. The Festival's Beer Garden not only includes
local microbreweries, but also wonderful food fare from the many
restaurants of Old California Restaurant Row. A huge children's area
features rides for children of all ages. The Festival route is dotted
with a wide variety of delicious international food vendors.
